The fonds consists of documents and photographs that demonstrate the activities of the Maritime Home for Girls from its opening through to its re-designation. Materials included are newspaper clippings, minutes, annual reports, ephemera, and photographs. Emma Ellis Fonds

The fonds consists of correspondence, photographs and negatives, newspaper clippings, and books that belonged to Emma Ellis, concerning her participation in the Expo-Africa programme by St. Andrew's United Church, Truro, NS. The photograph series also contains portraits of members of the Locke family, as well as unidentified individuals, taken in Nova Scotia and New England. The scrapbook was photocopied and discarded, along with original newspaper clippings. Collection · 1994 - 1995
The collection contains the textual, graphic, and audio records of the oral history project. Twelve people from the Truro area were interviewed and the collection is arranged with a series for each interviewee. Audio cassettes and one videotape were recorded during the interviews. Included with each audio cassette is a transcription and a journal written by the student about their experience. Digital videodiscs were later created in 2013 from the audio cassettes for preservation of the recordings. 95.88.1 - 12
