Fonds consists of financial records belonging to William Gaetz including insurance papers, receipts, correspondence, documents related to the estate of Josephine Gaetz, and military pension information. Also included are records related to Gaetz’s time spent serving in WWI, correspondence with soldiers during WWII, records related to Gaetz’s membership in the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and the Musquodoboit Harbour United Church for which Gaetz acted as treasurer. Church records include financial papers and correspondence, account books, receipts, religious education material, meeting minutes, photographs, insurance documents, and other material. Fonds also includes records pertaining to electoral districts and voters as Gaetz was one of the revisors of the voter lists for his district. In addition, fonds includes lists of officers of the Musquodoboit Harbour Volunteer Fire Department and other material. Accession number 2012.001

Fonds consists of correspondence written to Walter, Hannah, and Laura Stoddard as well as records related to churches and church societies and memorabilia related to the First World War that was found in the Stoddard Hotel. Fonds also contains financial records including insurance policies and tax receipts as well as post office records including ledgers of records of registered mail. Remaining records include permits, dance step instructions, quilt patterns, paintings by Harold Brownhill, a poem by Burns Marks, a label from E. Homan’s clam cannery, a brochure for a Camp Charlotte, a sign erected by the Cranberry Committee, and a business card and photograph of Judge F. M. Morson. Accession number 2013.010

Collection consists of forty monochrome aerial photographs of the Eastern Shore taken between 1931 and 1945. Also includes seven corresponding flight maps. Photographs illustrate the landscapes and coastlines of various locations along the Eastern Shore as they were in 1931-1945. Areas covered by the aerial photographs within this collection include Owl's Head, Little Harbour, Clam Harbour, Burnt Point, Clam Bay, Lake Charlotte, Ship Harbour, Upper Lakeville, Oyster Pond, and the Jeddores. Annabel (Siteman) Ells fonds

The fonds consists of records accumulated by Annabel (Siteman) Ells during the course of her research on the area of Ship Harbour and the families who lived there as well as personal records created and accumulated throughout her lifetime. The fonds includes a wide variety of records such as land related documents, wills, Loyalist petitions, census information, court papers, church registers and vital statistics including marriage, birth, and death records; school papers, genealogies, clippings and notes taken from various newspapers and periodicals, photographs and negatives, correspondence, postcards, and diaries. Collection consists of copies of a deed, a will, and a property record related to people and places along the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, accumulated by the Eastern Shore Archives. Records were created in 1982. Collection includes the 1883 will of Isaac Webber Sr. of Lakeville, an 1878 deed recording Isaac Webber’s purchase from Charlotte Garrott and Eve Parker of a parcel of land in Lakeville, and an 1850 document recording Isaac Webber’s purchase of a parcel of land between Ship Harbour and Clam Harbour. Mrs. Stanley Robson fonds

Fonds consists of records of the activities of Mrs. Stanley Robson and includes a copy of a handwritten history of the Clam Harbour United Church by Mrs. Robson, as well as an original handwritten review of the Church’s history. The texts were created in preparation for the 1967 centennial celebrations of the Church, with the review to be used as a sermon to the church’s congregation. Mrs. Robson spent two years preparing the history, and stated that she relied mostly on her memory, with the aid of records and information from other residents of the area. The review includes a brief conclusion and some annotations written in a hand other than Mrs. Robson’s. Accession number: 2010.018
