Payroll records
Series consists of the payroll records for the Municipality of Argyle, maintained and created by the administration employee responsible for payroll records for the period, Sandra Surette (2001-2002) and Sheila Wilson (2003-2011), and are arranged in two subseries (numbered 1-2) as follows: • Employee pay history reports & general payroll records, 2001-2011• Employee master file listings, 2001-2004 Note: Computer software changes in 2008 resulted in a change in the nature of the reports generated by the payroll clerk. Court House-Archives Dept
Series consists of the records of the Court House-Archives department during the period 2001-2011. Note: Records pertaining to the creation and construction of the New Archives facility, 2001-2006, will be found primarily in the records of the Argyle Municipality Historical & Genealogical Society. Recreation Dept.
Series consists of the records created by the department in delivering their recreational programs, creating and maintaining recreation infrastructure, support of regional organizations and programs, and more. Planning Department
Series consists of the records generated by the District Planning Commission and the Argyle Planning Advisory Committee for the period 2001-2011, and are arranged in three subseries (numbered 1-3) as follows: • Argyle Planning Advisory Committee minutes, 2001-2011• District Planning Minutes (Argyle-Yarmouth-Barrington), 2001-2011• General planning files Note: A significant volume of records from the Planning Department will also be found in SER.A, Subser.3 (General Admin files) under “Planning.” Those records were previously scattered throughout the subseries due to the inconsistent naming of files. Note: Other than the minutes of the Commission, ATCHA (Argyle Township Court House Archives) does not collect planning records pertaining to the Municipalities of Yarmouth and Barrington, whose planning was also handled by the District Planning Commission. Series consists of the records related to the Municipality’s funding of the various fire departments in the Municipality, and their support of those organizations in a variety of other ways.
