Fonds consists of one sessional book used to record proceedings of general sessions, which includes decisions on road building and poor relief (Apr. 1810-Apr. 1828) and grand jury decisions, which includes court officers present, names of defendants and plaintiffs and decision for Court of General Sessions of the Peace held at Liverpool Nov. 1816-Dec. 1817; and a list of officers appointed by the Sessions for the Town of Liverpool, 1820.

Consists of proceedings books in which the clerk of the peace recorded the actions of the court between 1760 and 1880, and in which the minutes of the elected municipal council were recorded until 1890. The final three volumes, after 1812, not only record the proceedings of the court but also index them and contain plans indicating roads and property divisions. Additional files consist of assessment returns to the Provincial Secretary (1842, 1861), material relating to the appointment of justices of the peace (1842-1879), similar documents regarding sheriffs and sheriff's fees (1829-1878), and returns of fees collected by local officials in relation to court proceedings which include some information on the disposition of individual cases (1837-1852). Fonds also contains records regarding the applications for lands, receipts for processing fees and deed searches, surveying information, deeds, indentures and correspondence regarding the alotment of undivided township land (1908-1951).

Fonds consists of documents created and/or accumulated by several generations of the White family, from Gideon to Thomas H. White. Contains family, business, and official correspondence, and includes bills, receipts, orders, licenses, powers of attorney, ships' papers, insurance policies, election papers and newspaper clippings. There are also official records created by Gideon as magistrate, militia officer, fire warden and tax collector in Shelburne, business records kept by Gideon and Miles White and others, and diaries, journals and personal accounts of Gideon and Cornelius White and others.
