Subseries consists of four files relating to Rocky Jones. The files include "Writing-on Rocky Jones" which includes interviews and stories (some in draft form) which feature Jones. "Writings-Civil rights and racism", which includes papers/articles (some published, some not) on race issues (some titles include "Young, Gifted, and Black", and "Can Racial Attitudes Change"), as well as some covering correspondence. "Writings--Poetry", which includes poetry by others Natt Mesiah Shaka ("Africville Rag"), and George Elliott Clarke ("Five Poems"). "Writings--by Rocky Jones" which includes "Selected Sources on Canadian Black History", a plan for a media workshop, handwritten notes, a history of the Black Battalion in the First World War, and some family documents/items. 2016.002.1, Series 5, Subseries 4

Subseries consists of four files relating to the career and life of Jamaican-Canadian boxer Trevor Berbick. Many of the later files relate to Berbick's legal troubles; the subseries also includes a poster advertising a fight, and a letter of protest against Berbick being allowed to box in Nova Scotia.
