Anderson & Sons, general merchants (ca. 1908 to 1936); business receipts, invoices, and statements relating to A. Anderson & Sons; personal correspondence, predominantly between Caroline MacKeen Anderson and her children, (ca. 1863 to 1907); photocopies of C.W. Fonds consists of records of the family of Anna Barbara Webber, created and/or accumulated by Anna Barbara Webber and later her daughter Frances Robson. Collection consists of postcards accumulated by Anna Barbara Webber. Postcards date from 1905 to 1914, but predominantly from 1906 to 1912. Most postcards are addressed either to Anna Barbara or to her (then) future husband William Wilson Webber, although there are also some to other family members. Most of the postcards refer to events and activities on the Eastern Shore and in Dartmouth, where Anna Barbara lived during this time period. Postcards are each assigned an individual number from 1 to 696, and are arranged into five categories pertaining to their styles or types: postcards representing specific communities, landscape postcards, photograph postcards, greeting cards, and romance cards. Within each category, cards are arranged in order of their number. Accession number 2008.013.

The fonds consists of records accumulated by Annabel (Siteman) Ells during the course of her research on the area of Ship Harbour and the families who lived there as well as personal records created and accumulated throughout her lifetime. The fonds includes a wide variety of records such as land related documents, wills, Loyalist petitions, census information, court papers, church registers and vital statistics including marriage, birth, and death records; school papers, genealogies, clippings and notes taken from various newspapers and periodicals, photographs and negatives, correspondence, postcards, and diaries. Item consists of a typed letter addressed to Avon Bayers, asking if he was interested in a job painting a house and if so, whether he could call at 44 1/2 Almon, Street in Halifax to pick up the supplies, which had already been purchased. The letter is unsigned but was written at 44 1/2 Almon Street on July 8, 1947. Accession number: 2013.062

Fonds gathers material about the history of Loyalists in Guysborough County, N.S., from their arrival in 1783, as well as the activities of the Country Harbour Loyalist Society, notably their 1983 re-enactment of the Landing of the Loyalists and the 2006 grand opening of the Municipal Park and Loyalist Walking Trail in Stormont, Country Harbour. Fonds includes papers generated by the operation of the society, including paperwork for the incorporation of the society, meeting minutes, event planning notes, and letters of support from the community.
