Series forms part of the Eastern Shore Archives map collection and consists of one enlarged map of the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, from about Musquodoboit Harbour to Ship Harbour. The map was given to Thea Wilson-Hammond by an employee of the Halifax Regional Municipality. It was thought that the map could be used during community meetings for presentations given to residents, allowing them to see the area depicted on a larger scale. Accession number: 2013.044

Series forms part of Lake Charlotte Area Heritage Society fonds and consists of records related to the conception and planning of Memory Lane Heritage Village, particularly phases I and II, which were primarily concerned with the initial establishment of the village. Series also includes records related to the implementation of the plans for the village, including records related to the acquisition of buildings and the construction of the village. Series contains proposals, planning documents, reports, cash flow projections, correspondence, funding applications, notes, meeting minutes, drawings (including early plans, a photo inventory and map of buildings, and other architectural drawings), forms, moving permit applications, video, and other material. Series also includes records related to the initial heritage village proposal led by Ford Webber and Gordon Hammond in 1994, before the society was established. Accession numbers: 2010.014, 2012.017

Series forms part of the Chezzetcook Historical Society fonds and consists of seven maps, each 71 x 114 cm or smaller. Most of the maps are copies of historical property plans, including two copies (one larger and one smaller) of an 1863 plan showing the subdivision of Gaetz and Nieforth properties at Three Fathom Harbour, a 1780s plan showing division of land lots at Lawrencetown, Little Jeddore Harbour (now known as Three Fathom Harbour), and Chezzetcook; an 1881 plan of division of the property of Leonard and Martin Conrod at Seaforth, and an undated plan of early land grants from Musquodoboit Harbour to Chezzetcook. Series also contains two modern maps, including a hydrographic map of the coast from Shut-in Island to Popes Harbour, and a topographical map of Porters Lake.

Series also includes essays pertaining to the history of local houses including the Blakeney, Anderson, Myers, Foley, Day, and Crawford residences as well as various historic buildings in Porters Lake including the school, St. Mark’s Church, the 14 ½ Mile House, Innis House, and Eddie Bonn House.
