Ce fonds consiste de 7 journaux personnels écrit par Mlle d'Entremont lorsqu'elle était jeune fille. Ses entrées sont peu informatives sauf celles de nature sociales. Les sujets qui paraissent les plus fréquents dans ces journaux sont tels que suit : 1) Elle mentionne assez régulièrement les bateaux qui entrent et qui sortent du port ainsi que leurs quantité de poisson. 2) Promenades et vie sociale : Elle mentionne des promenades à Yarmouth au Petit-Ruisseau à Tusket Wedge, aux Etats Unis, etc. Le mode de transportation était par bateau, par traineau ou par calèche. Elle décrit aussi des sorties sociales telles que des danses des visites, prendre des marches, prendre des repas chez des amis et chez des membres de famille, des « carding parties », etc. 3) L'ennui : elle indique souvent qu'elle est angoissée parce qu'elle est seule et qu'elle n'a pas d'amant et elle craint rester célibataire. 4) Religion (services, décès) : elle note en passant si qu'elle à assisté ou non à un tel service religieux. Elle mentionne les gens qui se marient, les décès, etc. MG 21

The fonds consists of records accumulated by Annabel (Siteman) Ells during the course of her research on the area of Ship Harbour and the families who lived there as well as personal records created and accumulated throughout her lifetime. The fonds includes a wide variety of records such as land related documents, wills, Loyalist petitions, census information, court papers, church registers and vital statistics including marriage, birth, and death records; school papers, genealogies, clippings and notes taken from various newspapers and periodicals, photographs and negatives, correspondence, postcards, and diaries.
