Consists of records created and/or accumulated by the Gay and Lesbian Association of Nova Scotia (GALA) and its predecessor, the Gay Association for Equality (GAE). Includes minutes of annual, board, general and executive meetings; correspondence of the secretary and program director; yearly financial statements; Turret/Rumours management files; Pride Week Committee files; subject files; and in-house publications such as newsletters and brochures. The minutes files also contain supporting documentation such as correspondence, notes, committee reports, officers' reports, and similar materials. The Rumours Management Board and Pride Week Committee files contain illustrative posters, snapshots and photographs depicting activities and events. Files are arranged chronologically except for subject files, which are arranged alphabetically. 2005-047
