Subseries consists of correspondence, budgets, financial documents, and planning documents relating to the 2002 Atlantic Metropolis Conference. This conference was co-hosted by Saint Mary's University and Dalhousie University to bring together researchers, government policy-makers, members of community organizations and other stakeholders interested in being part of a new Atlantic centre of research on immigration and population migration. The conference was the first major event for the new Atlantic Metropolis Project, which at this point had still not received major funding, nor had it yet established a regional centre. 2013.001.1, Series 4, Subseries 1
