Biographical history

John Allison Bell was born 1816 at Halifax, N.S., son of the Hon. Hugh and Nancy Bell. Bell married Mary Robinson (1822-1880) on 23 September 1854 and had at least one son, Francis Hugh Bell. He died 1901.
