Series also includes records related to meetings such as the society’s annual general meetings. In addition, series includes records related to the incorporation of the society and of Memory Lane Heritage Village, records related to the village’s designation as a heritage site, as well as other legal and financial records. Series contains meeting minutes, policies, resolutions, correspondence, reports, plans, financial statements, proposals, announcements, organizational charts, insurance policies, agreements, the society’s memorandum of association and bylaws, and other material.               Part of Katherine L. Stoddard family fonds
              Series forms part of Katherine L. Stoddard fonds and consists primarily of letters written to Katherine Stoddard by various correspondents between 1978 and 1998, including Robert Ritcey, Robert Kim Stevens, and others. Most pertain to genealogy related to families along the Eastern Shore, however, some are also personal in nature. Series also contains two letters from the First World War addressed to Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Stoddard concerning their son Private F. T. Stoddard. There is also a note from the Mercantile Marine Office concerning the wages of Robert Stoddard and dated 1882. The series also contains letters to Katherine’s mother, Eva Stoddard, from Annabel (likely Annabel Siteman); a letter to Lena from a Ritcey, and a letter to Bob Stoddard from his brother Thomas dated 1927. Series also includes several letters written to and by Robert Ritcey concerning the development of Martinique Beach as a National Park, letters from the Department of Tourism and Culture, a letter from the Department of Education concerning a gift agreement for a donation to the Nova Scotia Museum, and a letter from the Church Conservancy of Nova Scotia.               Series forms part of Lake Charlotte Area Heritage Society fonds and consists of records related to events hosted at Memory Lane Heritage Village. Series contains correspondence, notes, posters, press releases, reports, participant/guest lists, invitations, meeting minutes, questionnaires, receipts, instructions, menus, seating plans, itineraries, photographs, video, and other material. Series is arranged into ten sub-series for different events and types of events: the annual antique car show, the annual antique show and tell, the annual model boat & ship festival, the Eastern Shore Homecoming, Dominion Day events, heritage dinners, weddings and family reunions, irregular events, the annual Atlantic Canada Harmonica Festival, and volunteer appreciation dinners.               administrative, research records and microfilmed copies of original materials collected from a variety of archives. Administrative records consist of correspondence, reports, minutes, and planning material related to the present operations of the Fortress and the reconstruction process. Also included are documentary records related to the reconstruction and to interpretation. Research materials consist of primary (copies) and secondary material used to support the present interpretation and reconstruction planning of the Fortress. Primary materials are microfilmed copies of original materials which are housed in various archives including the Archives Nationales (France), National Archives of Canada, Archives Departementales (France), and the Public Record Office (London). The scope of these records is varied but all are related to the history of the French presence in Nova Scotia, especially in regards to the Fortress. Also included in the fonds is an index to and copies of Louisbourg Parish registers.

              Sub-series forms part of history and heritage activities series of the Helen Jennex fonds and consists of original illustrations of historical Eastern Shore tools and fishing techniques. The illustrations have captions and were probably used in displays put on by Helen Jennex and/or other members of the Marine Highway Historical Society and Fisherman’s House Museum. Sub-series also includes two original watercolours, one of Devil’s Oven, Clam Harbour, and one of Clam Harbour Beach. The watercolours are signed “W.R. Symons” and are dated to 1958.
