              This item is a black and white photograph of Nettia White, taken on 8 June 1919 in Edenbridge, Kent, England. It was removed from a memory book that contained items compiled for Dulcie by her parents and other caretakers while they lived in England during World War I. A note in the memory book identifies Nettia White as "my nurse". She was also the "girl groom gardener during the war".

              Fonds consists of photocopies of records from the Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital. The records appear to have been reproduced as part of a display for the hospital, possibly created by Ena Rowlings.               Fonds consists of approximately 137 hours of oral history interviews conducted by Lena Ferguson. Most interviewees were residents of the Eastern Shore region of Halifax County, particularly the Chezzetcook area. Interview topics include genealogy, local industries, occupations, music, shipping, community life, traditions, and folklore. In addition to interviews, the creator recorded school reunions, concerts, weddings, and church anniversaries. Several paper transcripts are included as well as scrapbooks featuring articles written by Lena and other newspaper articles regarding the Chezzetcook area. 2019.014
