Administrative history
Between 1927 and 1931, Reverend A. Thorpe was chair of the Board and Wylie Grant was secretary of the Official Board of the United Church in Wallace, N.S. The duties and functions of the Official Board include keeping membership records up to date and general administration of the pastoral charge. The Wallace United Church was formed in 1925 after the Presbyterian (1810) and Methodist (1808) churches joined the United Church of Canada.
Custodial history
Fonds was donated with the Francis Grant records by the Grant family of Wallace, N.S.
