Item consists of a commemorative plaque presented to Mayor Ron Wallace and the citizens of Halifax by Cunard in recognition of their commitment to honour Sir Samuel Cunard on his bicentennial birthday. The plaque consists of a wooden frame with gold detailing, inside of which is an engraved brass panel screwed on to a red velvet background.
