The Board of Governors of King's-Edgehill School of Windsor, Nova Scotia, have the power to adopt a common seal, to sue and be sued, to acquire, hold, occupy, enjoy, lease, mortgage, sell and convey real and property, to borrow money on the credit of the Governing Body, to give security therefore, to make and execute conveyances, agreements, and contracts, to make and establish such by-laws, rules, and regulations for the conduct of meetings and all matters within or under the jurisdiction of said Governing Body, the management of the property of the Governing Body, the appointment, duties and removal of masters, teachers, instructors, nurses, servants, and agents, the instruction, discipline and government of students and the management and control of all matter and things respecting King's-Edgehill School. Chairmen of the Board of Governors have included: John Wentzell (1978-1985), Fred Mounce (1985-1988), Astrid Davis (1989-1991), Dr. Robert Baird (1991-1997), John Cooper (1997-2001).
