    Administrative history

    The Remsheg Poultry Farm was established in 1927 by John A. Kennedy in Wallace, Nova Scotia. The Farm bred R.O.P. Barred Rocks and S.C. White Leghorns and Plymouth Rocks and sold hatching eggs, baby chicks and breeding stock. The farm was based at the Kennedy-Davison family homestead.

    Custodial history

    The records were found in the Kennedy-Davison house at Wallace, in 1989 when the house was passed on to the community to be used as a museum.

    Scope and content

    Fonds consists of letters ordering cockerels from customers in the Maritime Provinces, breeder affidavits from Record of Performance Association, receipts, catalogues and equipment advertisements, and a journal of activities.
