Scope and content
Series consists of documents on the use and purchase of Tolson land from Bedford Tower and the Bedford Basin Yacht Club, copies of pictures of the Tolson Homestead around 1871, and of the blanket woven in the Tolson and Eastwood woolen mills in 1846, a postcard of the Fish Hatchery in Bedford N.S. with the Tolson woolen mill visible in the background, and a collection of receipts for work, construction supplies, and horse feed and straw. Also includes bills from Nova Scotia Light and Power and a certificate in appreciation of Richard Tolson's service on the County Planning board.
