Administrative history
The Baroque Opera Orchestra at Saint Mary's University produced mainly versions of operas by Handel. The Orchestra was led by History Professor George Young, and many of the performers were members of the SMU community (faculty, etc). Productions staged by the Orchestra included "Rinaldo" (1986), "Giulio Cesare" (1998), and "Alcina" (1999).

Fonds consists of material relating to three productions staged by the Baroque Orchestra. Includes musical scores, promotional material, scripts, and DVDs of the final performances.
