File consists of images of the interiors of some of the businesses on Barrington, Duke, Argyle, and Buckingham streets that were demolished in order to make way for Scotia Square. Included are images of a pool hall (1291.2); the [break room] of Division 508 (of?) (1291.3 and 4); a bowling alley (1291.5, 7, and 8); a snack bar/restaurant in [the bowling alley] (1291.6); and a print shop (1291.9). According to the original Works Department file, this is Phase 1, Stage 2 of the Scotia Square construction project. Photographs possibly taken around the same time as those in files 102-39-1-514 to 102-39-1-520, which also depict the interior of businesses on Barrington St. that were demolished to make way for Scotia Square.
