              Fonds consists of two original photographs and two photocopies of related photographs. One original photograph is a portrait of George Alfred Westhaver. The second is an interior scene of workers making oars in Westhaver’s Oar and Block Works. The photocopies are of two c. 1895 images: a portrait of George Alfred Westhaver’s son William and another interior scene of workers making blocks in the Oar and Block Works. Among the workers in the latter image are Westhaver’s sons William and Robert. MBMS-16
              Fonds
              The La Have Outfitting Company fonds contains mainly financial records related to their business of outfitting and supplying vessels, as well as sales of fish, coal and salt between the years of 1905-1976. These records include invoices cash books, fish sales, journals, ledgers, vessel supply lists, accounts and lists of vessels that were insured by La Have Outfitting, as well as loans they had given out. The fonds also contains some general business correspondence, legal documents regarding insurance policies and shareholders information as well as documents relating to vessels, such as charter contracts, log books and register of vessels.               Collection · 1801-2005
              Collection contains documents relating to the mercantile and shipping activities of William McMillan, McMillan was active in the business between 1893 and the early 1930's. Records include receipts, invoices and other material from other merchants he purchased or sold to, correspondence regarding the shipping of those goods, papers regarding the vessels he owned or contracted to sail the material to different parts of the world and correspondence from individuals who ran the ships. Also included are telegram notices, personal correspondence and other material. This collection also contains material from the Locke Family, the Harding Family, all in Lockeport, Nova Scotia. It also contains documents from different individuals in the town of Lockeport. Part of the material included in this collection is the research of Trevor Bebb. He was working on the shipping history of Lockeport and the surrounding areas and as such has collected a great deal of material. Included in his papers are research notes, photocopies of shipping and customs records, diaries and logs, and printed material. MS-4-177
              Fonds
              The fonds consists of correspondence, financial records, sales and shipping operations, and vessel papers which document the business's operation between 1943 and 1983. Also included in the fonds are the records of the Lunenburg branch plant of Booth Fisheries Canada Company, Lunenburg Outfitting Company's president Honourable William Duff and Wilfred E. Knickle. Types of records found in the fonds are correspondence, cash books, cheque registers, fish sales and shipment books. MS-4-84

              The fonds consists predominantly of correspondence and vessel papers. The fonds also contains records that document the family's business activity, particularly that of Joseph O’Brien. MS-4-242
