Biographical history

Dr. Steve Davis is a Professor of Anthropology at Saint Mary's University, and currently a Professor Emeritus in that department. He holds a D.Phil in prehistory from the University of Oxford, a MA from Memorial University, and a BA (Hon.) in Anthropology from the University of New Brunswick.

In addition to his career at SMU, Dr. Davis is also the CEO of Davis MacIntyre and Associates, and Archaeological Consulting Firm located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Fonds consists primarily of archaeological impact reports conducted by Davis Archaeological Consultants (later Davis MacIntyre Consultants) for various parties in Nova Scotia. The fonds also consists of a series of videorecordings.
