              Accession comprises professional correspondence, administrative papers, research notes and secondary materials, lecture notes, typescripts, off prints, and reviews illustrating Girard's work as a legal scholar, writer and editor, and university professor.               Item is a bound book of lecture notes written as a series of consecutively numbered questions and answers on moral philosophy. The book was written during the 1838-1839 session of Professor Hercules Scott's lectures and contains 125 closely written pages. MS-2-94, SF Box 23, Folder 1
              Fonds
              Fonds consists of the records of the Technical University of Nova Scotia, predominanty from its first 40 years as the Nova Scotia Technical College and from its final decade before amalgamation with Dalhousie University. College governance is well documented through the minutes and correspondence of the Board of Governors and the Senate, and the President’s records. The administration of technical education courses in communities throughout Nova Scotia, 1907-1947, is minutely detailed in the records of the Director of Technical Education, as well as through the series of beautiful glass plate negatives of Technical Education classes. The Public Relations office created files, photographs, sound and video recordings of events, faculty, staff and students of TUNS. A selection of student records is available in the series of records from the Registrar’s Office; however access is restricted to protect privacy. The development of the TUNS campus is well documented through construction photographs, aerial photographs, historical overviews, and files on land acquisition and renovations to historic buildings.               Fonds
              The fonds consists of records that document the administrative and operational activities of the Faculty of Medicine. These include general correspondence, minutes (faculty and departmental), financial records, reports, statistics, administrative relationships, program information, course materials, examination records, newspaper clippings, memorabilia, photographs as well as provide evidence of relationships with outside organizations. Principally, the material is composed of records from the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Medicine. To facilitate access to the collection the materials have been organized into 17 different series.
