              William Rogers fonds

              Fonds consists of an account book for the ship Chloe, which was built at Shelburne in 1872 by William J. Kelley. Rogers was principal share owner in conjunction with other Yarmouth merchants. The vessel was sold in 1876. Also included is the account book for the ship William and the brigantine W.A. Rogers, both of which Rogers was principal share owner. The William was built at Tusket in 1873 by George Ross. The W.A. Rogers was built circa 1863 and engaged in trading missions around the world.

              Fonds consists of one deed conveying the Yarmouth and Annapolis Railway Co. to the Windsor and Annapolis Railway Co. Ltd. The deed also contains plans filed by the Company for the purchase of land to construct the railway. The plans include lot numbers, acreage, name of owner, type of land or buildings on land and is organized by community.

              Fonds consists of 309 photographs, primarily b&w prints of the store interior and exterior, store displays and staff members. An order did not exist when the records arrived in the Archives, therefore arrangement was imposed by archivist. The material in this fonds was created by numerous photographers, many of whom are unidentified. Those identified include: Bob Brooks, Atlantic Photo Service, Reigh Poole, Gerald Leblanc, and Ken Oxner.
