Fond consists of letters written by Captain Graham Roome to Annie Belle Hollett, and other miscellaneous correspondence recieved by Annie Belle Hollett. Many of the letters are accompanied by their original envelope. There is also a file containing envelopes for which no letters exist.

Brigadier Richard Edward Graham Roome was Captain Graham Roome's elder brother. Richard ("Reg") was serving in France when Captain Groome arrived overseas and is mentioned in several of Captain Groome's letters to Ann Hollet.
