Biographical history

Edward D. Haliburton was born in Newfoundland. He received a honourary degree from Acadia University in 1958. He became President of the Nova Scotia Fruit Growers Association, won a seat in the legislature, and was the Nova Scotia Minister of Agriculture. After retiring from politics in 1970, he was a columnist for the Chronicle Herald. He died in Halifax.
