The records consist of interview tapes and transcripts, photographs, land records, and information pertaining to the history of industries and services on the Eastern Shore as well as heritage houses. Series forms part of the Musquodoboit Harbour Heritage Society collection and consists of transcripts and cassette tape recordings of personal interviews conducted by the Musquodoboit Harbour Heritage Society with various local residents. Interviewees include Etta Mae (Gault) Hilchie, Gladys Ritcey, Lowell Gaetz, Debbie Marks, Awilda Connors, George Slaunwhite, Annie Young, Elliott Slade, Arthur Mannette, Stewart and Dorothy Rowlings, Blanche Baker, Mae Pettipas, Eva Fahie, Dollie Mosher, Clive Monk, Florence Baker, Cora Mason, Gertie Mannette, Lillian Bellefontaine, and Florence Colbert. The interviews were conducted with the goal of gaining information about the community and local residents. Accession number: 2012.001
