Henry S. Sutherland fonds

Fonds consists of two business ledgers created by Henry S. Sutherland to record the transactions of his logging business and his general store in Clyde River. Also contains information about his land, and legal decisions concerning his properties. In the ledger, Sutherland records election results, possibly related to his position as Justice of the Peace. Ledgers also include accounts with members of the Shelburne community, including payment for services regarding cows, hay, molasses, and digging mud. Fonds also includes receipts, fire and life insurance policies, deeds and other legal papers, and a document concerning the Township of Shelburne Assessment.
