Scope and content
Sub-series consists of operating and capital budgets for the City of Halifax. These are also referred to as estimates or expenditures. The 1967 operating budget is available only as proposed to council. Capital budgets are available starting 1952; only proposed capital budgets are available until 1972. Operating and capital budgets are bound together from 1987 to 1993; however, there is a separate capital budget volume for 1992 with data that differs from that in the combined operating and capital volume. Duplicates are retained when available.
