Scope and content
Series forms part of the William Ansell Gaetz family fonds and consists of electoral district records, primarily concerning districts 17 and18, which feature revised lists of voters including those stricken due to death or removal as well as new voters to be added to the lists. The records also consist of correspondence between Gaetz and the Municipal Clerk and Treasurer regarding Gaetz’s duties as a revisor. Also included are preliminary lists of qualified electors for 1934, 1937, and 1940. The records from 1934 and 1940 were created by William Gaetz, who is listed as a revisor. Series also includes a list of electors from Division No. 25 dated 1974 that states the names and occupations of voters. There is also one registration card belonging to Josephine Gaetz dated 1940.

Arrangement
Records of the MHHS state that the original source of the revised voter lists and lists of qualified electors is unknown. The decision was made by the Eastern Shore Archives to place the records within the William Gaetz fonds as there is evidence that he was in fact a revisor in the area at that time and a logical connection can be made between the material.
