    The Saint Mary's University Convocation Committee probably began shortly after 1970. The Committee coordinates the entire Convocation, including the dinners, services, and other special events. Although the makeup of the Committee is unclear, members seem to be from the Alumni Association, the Alumni Office, the Board of Governors, the President's Office, the Registrar's Office, the Senate, and other administrative Departments within the University. The Registrar appears to be the chair of this committee. Registrars known to hold the position of Chair: Elizabeth Chard.
